Standards

Vinidex recommends that PVC-U SCJ pressure pipes are installed in accordance with AS 2032 – Installation of PVC pipe systems. For further information on PVC Pressure installation please refer to our PVC Pressure Pipe Technical Resources.

  1. These fittings should not be jointed to solvent cement pipe sockets.
  2. Spigotted fittings are designed for use only with other moulded sockets and NOT with pipe sockets. Moulded fitting sockets are shorter than pipe sockets. Although their OD’s are stated here, spigots have a marginal outside taper to facilitate manufacture.
  3. Spigot length may vary.
  4. Care should be taken not to over tighten. Refer to our Installation Guidelines for procedures
