Project background
Springridge Estate is a residential housing development in Wallan, a suburb north of Melbourne. Created with outdoor space in mind, the development features creeks, wetlands, reserves and walking trails to offer an idyllic country lifestyle. Newnham Earthmoving were contracted to lay a stormwater solution for the new housing estate.
The challenge
A comprehensive drainage solution was required for Springridge Estate’s stormwater applications – one that was easy to lay and flexible to install. It also needed to minimise time spent on-site and reduce the need for any extra machinery to lift heavy pipes.
The solution
Vinidex had already supplied products for previous stages of the project, so the contractor was confident in Vinidex StormPRO®’s credentials as a superior stormwater solution. StormPRO® was certainly up to the task – lightweight and easy to cut and join, it significantly reduced construction times and manual handling risks. Once council approval was received, choosing StormPRO® also meant that the project costs were reduced.
