Electrical & Communications Systems

Features & Benefits

  • PVC Conduit Jointing

PVC conduits have an integral socket for solvent cement jointing.

  • XGuard® Conduit

XGuard® is high performance double-wall PVC pipe with a smooth internal bore and corrugated exterior for electrical and stormwater applications. XGuard® electrical conduit is coloured orange and XGuard® communications conduit is coloured white.

The technologically advanced design and manufacture of XGuard®  enables superior characteristics to be achieved, as follows:

    • A material efficient product
    • Lighter weight per unit length
    • Long pipe length
    • Excellent handling and durability
    • High performance and cost efficiency
  • Polyethylene Conduit

Polyethylene (PE) conduit for electrical applications is coloured orange whereas conduit for telecommunications is coloured white, black, or black with white stripes. PE is available in long lengths in coils, is flexible and can be installed below ground using ploughing-in, directional drilling or open trench techniques.

  • Cable Cover

Cable Cover is polymeric cable protection available in rolls or sheets. It provides increased protection for underground cables.
